Live action Max Fletcher’s Superman in World War II going up against Hitler and his Super-race!

STORY

Lois and Clark get assigned to the Press Corps in France near the end of WWII, in March of 1945. Lois and her photographer, Private Donald Callahan, get kidnapped by Nazi Super Soldiers and taken as hostages to Berlin. To rescue them, Superman must stand up to Hitler’s Super Soldiers. They are more formidable than any foes he has faced previously. Opposing philosophies of what the “superman” is are explored. This film is Superman at his roots. The Director puts his Grandfather, who really was a WWII photographer, in the Jimmy Olson role. Supermen: World War is a feature length Fan Film and a passion project!

HISTORY

In September 2016, a father and son, Jeff and Donny, on vacation down in California and started up a conversation about what would be a good movie. That’s when they both found inspiration from the cover of Action Comics #1, from then on the script went into Development.

Donny is a St. Louis, MO independent filmmaker of 8 years and has decided to take on his first big ambitious feature with the help of a team of two production companies, KE Films and November 11th Pictures. Preproduction began in March, 2017. Casting a cast of St. Louis actors, but one actor Donny had in mind to dawn the red cape and blue tights, Kevin Caliber. Kevin had played Superman previously in the first episode of season one entitled, “Supergirl”.

After filming for 3 weeks of shooting the feature, a private screening was held in St. Louis with family and friends of the Cast and Crew. It is currently running in film festivals until online release date on April 3rd, 2019. Currently has won two awards, Best Actress: Kerri Miller as Lois Lane, Best Supporting Actor: Scott Michael Dunn as Adolf Hitler.

  1. This is awesome looking.!! I liked the 1950’s Superman TV series and this kind of reminiscent.
    The 1940’s Fleisher cartoons must have also inspired this team. I already like the acting in the trailer. Good luck to these fellows, they seem to ‘get’ Superman.
