The following project was not a crowd funded endeavor. We decided on a whim to film this project to commemorate the 30th anniversary and release of “Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers” on Nintendo Switch. “Street Fighter: Rise” is a hyper realistic fight between two super humans. Pre-production and filming began in mid-April 2017; it took 4 days to shoot and 2 months of post production. It was shot entirely on green- screen; the scenery and effects are completely CG. Many of the special moves from the series appear in the film with plenty of other easter eggs along the way; try to catch them all!
Synopsis: The current world tournament is nearing its end. The reigning world champion, Sagat, defends his title as a new challenger, Ryu, appears. The stage is set! Two warriors clash in a duel for the ages!
