The Wild Wolf

A Game of Thrones fan film. Very well done of course or it wouldn’t be a fan film follies pick.

Wild Wolf Films are proud to release The Wild Wolf, a fan made short film based off the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series.

By Ciaran Mc Ilhatton and Shane Gibson.

We are a small independent film production group from Belfast, home of Game of Thrones and have been inspired by our love of the series to take up a camera and make something ourselves.
The short takes place around 15 years before the first episode of Game of Thrones and is based around the events prior to Robert’s Rebellion.

“Brandon Stark, Ned Stark’s older brother and heir to Winterfell, has been betrothed to Catelyn Tully in an effort to unify the houses Stark and Tully. A young Petyr Baelish, living as a ward at Riverrun under the care of House Tully, has challenged Brandon to a duel for the Lady Catelyn’s hand in marriage. Brandon is answering the challenge to put young Littlefinger in his place…”

The short film has been made with volunteers from the local media circles in Belfast and Northern Ireland to showcase some of the local talent on offer. Produced by Shane Gibson & Ciaran McIlhatton.

I haven’t seen a Game of Thrones episode in a couple years. I pretty much lost interest in the show. The show never seemed to go anywhere from season to season. It had some classic episodes. Maybe the first, last and maybe a middle episode of a season had anything going on. But! Different strokes for different folks I guess.
Stop reading my babbling and go appreciate this fan film.
