Nathan Smith is an average guy who receives a mysterious ring. With the power it grants him, he becomes a super-hero. Meanwhile, Zack and his younger brother are having a hard time making ends meet, so they turn to crime. In a desperate attempt to make some cash, the two brothers rob a pool hall. After their plan is thwarted by the Green Lantern, Zack vows revenge on the hero.
