Episode 40

March 28, 2009

fanfilmpodcast40James Watson from Atlantis Studios is in the hot seat this week as Fanboy Will and I grill him about his comic book series turned live action short films called Paula Peril. We put Mr. Watson under the hot lights with no glass of water in site until he spilled the beans on this character that is a cross between Nancy Drew and a female Indiana Jones. Fanboy Will had to rap Mr. Watson’s knuckles a few times until James discussed how he was able to get the ever so beautiful Valerie Perez to play the title character. Finally, we worked Mr. Watson over until he spoke about the Tomb Raider collaborative fan magazine that he publishes. Eventually, Mr. Watson was let go with a warning, he would have to continue the great comic book and film adventures of Paula Peril or he would have to answer to the forces behind the Fan Film Podcast.

Make sure you check out the official Paula Peril website.

Episode 39

March 21, 2009

fanfilmpodcast_039I’m very jealous of Fanboy Will on this week’s Fan Film Podcast. Will interviews Mr. Phil Morris at this years New York City Comic Convention held at the Javits Center on February 6th through the 8th. This gentleman has been a fanboy favorite with his numerous Star Trek appearances, his voice work, and of course Jackie Chiles on Seinfeld. Then there’s this juggernaut show called Smallville where Phil plays the iconic character The Martian Manhunter. We learn about Phil’s new project called “Emissary”.

Fanboy Will was also able to talk with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles creator Peter Laird.

Episode 38

March 14, 2009

fanfilmpodcast_038AND WE ARE BACK! Welcome to the first show of 2009. Fanboy Will is going to get things going the next two podcasts with his experiences and interviews from the New York City Comic Convention held at the Javits Center on February 6th through the 8th. I’m just along for the ride chiming in with my witless and humorless comments.

Interviews to expect are with Ray Felix from Cup O Java Studio. Miss Horror Fest 2009, Victoria Tim, (VicTim – get it!) is representing. Chris Notarile from Blinky Productions makes a quick appearance. Terence Krey and Christian Nilsson were promoting their Thor based fan film web series Rainbow Bridge. Our old friend Robert Feldman from Dr. Shroud fame is on hand. And last, but hardly least, Mr. Trevor Roth, COO of Roddenberry Productions fame, gives us a great incite into some exciting projects on tap and an interesting revelation about the Godfather of Trek himself.
