Worlds Collide: A Marvel vs. DC Live-Action Fan Made Web-Series




“Worlds Collide” is a LIVE-ACTION non-profit web-series made by fans & for fans! Created by comic-book loving filmmakers, J.R. Curry and Luke Snailham, “Worlds Collide” gives comic book fans what they truly want: to combine characters from both Marvel and DC universes into one single universe and have them battle against each other, something that major movie studios can’t provide! The Kickstarter campaign for “Worlds Collide” is now live for fans to check out and support.

A proof-of-concept short film, titled “M.A.G.” is also available on the Kickstarter page. Set on an action-packed hyphothetical S.H.I.E.L.D. agent training session, “M.A.G” was made in just 2 days for under $2000. “M.A.G.” is definite proof of what the filmmakers can deliver to fans who want to see the worlds of Marvel and DC collide.

About the Filmmakers
J.R. Curry hails from Phoenix, Arizona. He grew up reading comic books and has always wanted to bring life to the lesser known comic book heroes. He studied film at Arizona State University and the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. The short film “M.A.G.” is his first venture into action filmmaking, and he is looking forward to reaching even greater heights with “Worlds Collide.”

Luke Snailham moved to the US in 2002 where he obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography from The Ohio State University. In 2013, Luke graduated from the New York Film Academy’s Los Angeles campus with a Masters degree in filmmaking. In addition to producing and directing his own films, Luke also works as a cinematographer. He recently completed cinematography on the feature film Cloudy with a Chance of Sunshine.
