The Fantastic Four (Roger Corman)

Executive produced by Roger Corman and Bernd Eichinger, Fantastic Four is an independent superhero film completed in 1994. The film was based on Marvel Comics’ long-running comic book and featured the origin of the Fantastic Four and their first battle with the Doctor Doom. The film was never released. Not a fan film in the true definition, but it sure the heck looks like one.

  1. By Today’s standards’ it’s on par with a Fan film effort., But this movie was true to the Stan/Kirby comic book. Corman known for low budget productions, at least was willing to produce this movie in the 90’s,(and Capt.America) I give him credit for that. The ‘Thing’ s costume is the closest ever to the comic book.,It probably was the most costly in props for the movie…I think it’s an impressive rubber suit to this day, no CGI…Only Johnny Storm was CGI, -1993, it’s very crude, poor graphics….Dr. Doom costume is also very true to the comic book artwork…Fun romp none the less.
