Eagle Pilot Jack Crawford, one of the 311 men and women stranded on Alpha Moonbase by the catastrophic events of September 13 1999. He is sent on an emergency patrol to survey the remains of Nuclear Waste Area 2. A short if not dangerous flight, or so he thought.
The Passenger tells the story of that lone pilot, a man looking forward to the birth of his first child, indeed the first child fated to be born on Alpha as he tries to finish a critical and dangerous mission before he can safely return home to his wife Sue. However, it seems the universe has other plans for Jack Crawford.
Bad combination of no conflic, pushing quazi-religion and plot holes (why didn’t Jack flip down his visor and go to inline oxygen when his Eagle crashed, as any pilot would be trained to do?)–and that’s just the writing. Sorry, folks. Not ready for prime time.
